Blindspot

I honestly did not know what to think of Blindspot from the very first time I heard the concept of the story. A Jane Doe is found in Times Square with no memory and mysterious tattoos on her body. The naked female Jaimie Alexander in the bag who is totally unaware of her whereabouts and surrounding. Not only that she is completely confused she is also covered in tattoos. Her whole system has been flooded with a drug that treats PTSD and left her without any memory. The only clues of who she is or where she came from are all over her body in the form of tattoos which were recently freshly added.

At first I felt this would be a completely stupid idea from concept, but upon watching the pilot show I was left with a compelling urge to want to know more. The acting was top-notch, the saving grace so far is the production cost being tossed at this show. I’m getting the feeling that NBC is banking everything on the success of Blindspot as their prime time hit. As long as the show gains fans with engaging stories, Blindspot will be that hit NBC wants. Mystery, crime solving, action adventure seem to be all here, even a tinge of sci-fi is added to keep us geeks entertained as well. She may not know who she is but glimpses of her fighting skills and special ops type training keep popping up. Give Blindspot a watch and if one episode doesn’t grab you then nothing will. Jaimie Alexander is best known for her role as Lady Sif in the Marvel Thor movies.
