The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) returned to McCormick Place on March 31st and runs though April 2nd for their 2023 show.

As I mentioned in my previous article, Saturday was jam-packed with people because Saturday, 3-Day, and VIP passes all sold out well before the start of the convention. As frustrating as it might have been at times, it was good to see McCormick Place so full. I was unable to attend in December of 2021, and last year’s convention felt a little out of place when it occurred over the summer. While it was nice to have guaranteed pleasant weather last year, I think so many of us have just become used to C2E2 taking place in the spring. I know this was also the first time back to conventions for quite a few people, and it was such a pleasure to see a lot of familiar faces after such a long time.
