The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) returned to McCormick Place on March 31st and ran though April 2nd for their 2023 show.

Saturday was the second day of the convention and no doubt the busiest. If you had come planning on buying your pass at the door, you would have been out of luck since Saturday badges sold out well in advance of the start of the convention. Evidence of that was clear everywhere – the lobby, the convention floor, and even in the hotels. Unfortunately, that meant that a lot of times even walking down the larger aisles, at times, could be a challenge. But whether you were wanting to shop some more, attend panels, meet some of the celebrities in attendance, or just take it all in, there were more than enough activities for you to choose from.
This was also the day most attendees chose to bring out the favorite, biggest, and best cosplays. Additionally, the Cosplay Central Crown Championship took place that evening, so many of the contestants walked around showing off their incredible creations. Nearly everywhere you went there were people posing with their favorite characters or stopping because someone had asked to take their picture.
As such, I was able to take quite a few pictures over the course of the day, and here are some of them.
