Friday was the first day of the convention and I have to admit, it was rough for me. Bad weather was moving in and the pressure system was wreaking havoc with my head. It didn’t help that McCormick Place completely forgot what air conditioning was, so it was warm in most of the building, a few places were actually hot (maybe the heat was on?). Then, when I was down by Artists Alley, all my senses were assaulted by a cloud of perfume so thick you could taste it. The rest of the day I was pretty much out of it and did table duty at the Costumers With a Cause booth. They are a volunteer organization of costumers that help with children’s charities. This year at C2E2, they are raising money for Lurie Children’s Hosputal through donations. They have face painting and an E.T. Photo Op.
Here is my first batch of Friday photos. I am sorry if I took your photo and don’t publish it. I could not focus half of the day and just let the camera do the work, so a lot of photos are being deleted because they are not good.
