[Video] What We Watched: Fun Clips from the Past Week – October 12-18

While we’re all staying at home, a lot of us are watching things online. With the plethora of videos available, and more being created every day, it’s an enjoyable way to pass the time and bring a little fun into our lives. Some of these may be brand new, some may be older, but here are a few of the videos I enjoyed this week.

Olive and Mabel belong to a British sportcaster who has been documenting many of their adventures during quarantine. These videos give a fun perspective of what it looks like from the dog’s perspective to go for a run. The first is when they go out along a running path, and they second while having a bit of fun on the beach. It certainly looks like a lot of fun to be a dog!

Halloween events like trick-or-treating may be cancelled in many places, but that doesn’t mean that there’s no fun to be had around the spooky holiday this year. This homeowner goes all-out with his decorations every year, setting his light displays to music that can be heard on a short-range radio frequency. Being conscious of trying to avoid crowds, he is offering it only 2 hours a night at his California home this year. He also uses this as a way to raise money for McHenry House, a local family shelter.

Ever wonder if some of your favorite snacks could surviving the vacuum of space? This video looks to answer that very question, and the answer is quite entertaining to watch!

In case you need yet another reason to love Keanu Reeves, a recent clip of the actor surfaced from his days as a reporter in Canada, where he covered the International Teddy Bear Convention. He takes the job seriously, asking the bears hard-hitting questions like why they all have the same first name of Graham and where exactly they get their education. However, he certainly isn’t above a bit of fun, receiving lots of bear hugs and goofing around with them as well.

Sky-diving is pretty awesome on it’s own. But sky-diving at night, and putting on a pyrotechnics show to boot is just plain mind-blowing!

In recent years, it’s become a popular trend to repurpose old school buses into small homes. This video covers one such couple who converted a bus in Australia so they could do some traveling. It took them a lot longer that they’d initially thought, but I have to give them major credit for doing all of the work themselves, picking up the necessary skills as they went, and turning the vehicle into quite the cozy residence!
