I’m moving a little slow this week thanks to a whole series of events, but I am finally getting the photos done for Star Trek: Mission Chicago. This event was the first of its kind, put on by ReedPop and Paramount Plus.

It was a Star Trek-focused event that many found both enjoyable and disappointing at the same time. The event was much smaller than many of us expected and the organization of the whole event event felt very ramshackle and last minute.

The lack of vendors was disappointing, but as it had to be officially licensed merchandise only, it does limit the options. The celebrity and panels schedules were also a joke.

But on the plus side, everyone got to don their Star Trek gear, hang with friends, and do things we haven’t done in a long time.
