The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) returned to McCormick Place on August 5th-7th, 2022.
Saturday was another hot and humid day, both inside and out. I don’t know why it was so humid inside the convention center. It seemed that the air conditioning was running, but only in some areas. This was also the day for photoshoots and the the day when most people bring out their best cosplay. I also think I am finally dialing in this new camera.
The lack of carpet is REALLY being felt by everyone. There is a definite difference between standing on the bare concrete and moving over towards one of the areas the vendors have carpeted. Even standing in the tiled foyer is easier on the legs and feet.

I did a LOT of walking and got a lot of photos. The crowd was definitely thinner than I have seen in past years, but there was a lot of competition for attendees this week with at least five other fan-based conventions within a six hour drive, one of them just as big as C2E2.
