His favorite crafting material is HD Foam and sometimes that can be tough to use fasteners with. While making bracers, he came up with a fantastic new idea.
When making bracers, a good way to secure them is with buttons and a loop of elastic. In this case, I have made small holes in the foam, filled the hole with hot glue, then put the loop on the back of the button into the fresh hot glue. Once cool, use a loop of soft elastic winding it around the buttons. The bracer should slip over your hand and close again around your arm.
