Writing:
When cracking open this next volume of The Escapist, it will knock people’s socks off. Not only does it feature writing from Escapist creator Michael Chabon, but Howard Chaykin, Matt Kindt and the late, great Will Eisner. Every story is a host unto itself. Some of the finest creative writing minds in the business take a crack at the brainchild of Chabon and spin stories of the sort that are pure magic.
Art:
It’s another mash-up of amazing artwork all in one book. Some of the most excellent people to pick up a pen, stylus, or brush and call themselves comic book artists contributed to this volume. One specific artist to note is, of course, Will Eisner. Like his other brothers/sisters of ink and pen, Will had a driving creative force. And he let it ride one final time in here, to give the world one final Spirit story.

For everyone who enjoyed the first Escapist trade, here’s another fabulous read. More intriguing and awesome stories, eye-popping art and interesting ‘history’ crafting the backstory of the Escapist’s fictional career even more.
