‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Release Date Moved Up!

Avengers Infinity War

The hardest part for any movie fan is waiting in anticipation of their film’s release date. We wait months or years in anticipation, often gathering any scrap we can get in the form of spilled tidbits, actors speculating, photos and trailers. Fans of Marvel movies are no exception to this – we’ve known about Avengers: Infinity War for years, and are now down to the last few months of waiting.

Marvel decided to make the waiting just a little but easier, announcing on Twitter today that they were moving up the release date for Avengers: Infinity War. Originally, Infinity War was going to come out May 4th, but now it will be coming out one week earlier on April 27th.

The announcement came via a Twitter exchange with actor Robert Downey Jr, who plays Iron Man/Tony Stark in the movie franchise. He teasingly asked if he could see the film earlier with friends, resulting in Marvel sharing a poster with the new release date added.

Infinity War was already due for release on April 27th in the UK, but this move means that fans in the US won’t have to wait quite as long to see what happens next to their favorite superheroes.

Infinity War is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, and stars Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Chris Evans, and Elizabeth Olsen,
