Saturday, February 15th was the sixth annual Northwest Indiana Comic-Con (NWI) held in Schererville, IN.
This is a popular mid-sized convention with a variety of vendors and artists in attendance. They have cosplay contests for all ages and an almost continual stream of entertainment that ranges from basic art lessons to local performance groups.
Unfortunately, it does get a little crowded, but that just gives you more opportunity to talk to someone new while you wade through the crowd. Honestly, they need a larger venue, but there is none in the area that would suit their needs. The owner, Brian Grabinski, does a fantastic job at keeping the crowds under control and everything flowing.
