WWE’s Big Show Will Be Signing Autographs For FREE at Wizard World Sacramento (6/17-6/19)

The World’s Largest Athlete’ is coming to Sacramento, California next weekend and he’s doing something big upon his arrival.

On June 17-19, Wizard World is bringing their convention to the state capital for its third visit. Everything you would expect at a Wizard World con will be happening, but something a little unexpected is occurring that you won’t want to miss. WWE’s Big Show was just announced as the latest addition to the guests appearing at the 3-day con. Unfortunately he will only be on hand one day, Saturday, June 18th, but he is doing something special for the fans in attendance. Big show will be signing autographs for fans… for FREE! Yeah, that’s right. With only 3 hours at the con, he does have to cram a lot into Saturday’s show. He’ll first conduct photo ops, then the autograph signing which looks to be scheduled for about 2 hours, and then he will be featured on a Q & A panel.

Big Show joins Sebastian Stan, Evan Peters, William Shatner, Hayley Atwell, and many others at the Sacramento Convention Center next weekend. Here are more details about this West Coast con, courtesy of Wizard World’s recent press release…

SACRAMENTO, Calif., June 10, 2016 – Already a huge world class pop-culture event, Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento just got a lot “bigger” as “The World’s Largest Athlete,” WWE Superstar Big Show®, will be at the event on Saturday, June 18, at the Sacramento Convention Center. Big Show will pose for photo ops (11 a.m.) sign FREE autographs (11:30 a.m.), and conduct an interactive Q&A session (1:30 p.m.) at the pop culture extravaganza, the 11th event on Wizard World’s calendar of comic con and gaming cons in 2016.

Big Show joins the all-star guest list which includes Captain America star Sebastian Stan, X-Men standout Evan Peters, Hayley Atwell (“Agent Carter,”Captain America: The First Avenger), William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), and Baseball Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson (The Naked Gun) on the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend Wizard World’s third trip to Sacramento, set for June 17-19.

Big ShowWe love the fans in Sacramento, and we are excited to add WWE Superstar Big Show to the Sacramento event” said John Maatta, the Wizard World CEO. “We are thrilled to reward our loyal fans with free autographs from this larger-than-life personality as Big Show comes to the big show.”

Reminiscent of such goliaths as Andre the Giant and Big John Studd, Big Show is a feared competitor who intimidates opponents with his size and stare alone. The World’s Largest Athlete’s measurements are astounding. He weighs 441 pounds, stands a mighty 7 feet tall, wears a 22 EEEEE size shoe and boasts a 64-inch chest. It’s no surprise, then, that his in-ring debut left crater-sized impressions on the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair where the young giant captured the WCW Championship on two occasions.

Make no mistake: The first man to capture the WWE, WCW and ECW Championships is more proficient at delivering punches than punchlines. Not only has he won every title WWE has to offer, they can’t create accolades fast enough for the giant to claim them. In only the second year of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal’s existence, Big Show captured the ascendant honor by eliminating Damien Mizdow. Still knocking heads almost 20 years into his career, Big Show remains a monstrous threat. Best of luck to anyone who crosses his path.
