[Video] Enter Wakanda with These ‘Black Panther’ Featurettes

The release of Marvel’s Black Panther is nearly upon us, with many fans attending opening night screenings tonight or tomorrow. Passionate fans have even gone as far to recreate the trailers with LEGOs. The film will take us to the fictional African nation of Wakanda, the technologically advanced nation ruled by T’Challa, who was was first introduced in Captain America: Civil War. While you wait for the film release, why not brush up with these featurettes put out by Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel?

In “Wakanda Revealed”, the cast and crew talk about how Wakanda hides itself and its advances from the rest of the world.

“From Page to Screen” talks about bringing the character of T’Challa from the comic book pages and bringing him to life on film.

In “Good to be King,” we learn about where T’Challa is at the beginning of Black Panther in relation to when we last saw him in Civil War.

“Warriors of Wakanda” features talk about another hotly-anticipated element of Black Panther – the Dora Milaje. They are Wakanda’s all-female fighting force and the fiercest fighters you will ever meet. Nerdist also spoke with the cast about these powerful women and what it means to portray them.

Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B Jordan, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, and Andy Serkis. It is in theaters February 16.
