1947 – American test pilot Chuck Yeager became the first person to break the sound barrier.
1978 – first TV movie from a TV series-“Rescue from Gilligan’s Island”
2007 – “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” featuring Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian premieres on the E! cable network in the US
2011 – The Apple iPhone 4S was released.
