1830 – “Mary Had A Little Lamb” by Sarah Josepha Hale is first published by Boston firm Marsh, Capen & Lyon
1844 – Samuel Morse taps out “What hath God wrought” in the world’s first telegraph message
1883 – After 14 years of construction the Brooklyn Bridge was opened to traffic.
1899 – First auto repair shop opens in Boston
1959 – first house with built-in bomb shelter exhibited (Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania)
1969 – “Sugar, Sugar” single released by The Archies
1974 – The last “Dean Martin Show” was seen on NBC, after 9 years on air.
1985 – “View to a Kill” premieres in US
1989 – “Indiana Jones & Last Crusade”, directed by Stephen Spielberg and produced by George Lucas premieres
1996 – “Spy Hard” starring Leslie Nielsen is released
