We are now in the heart of summer and nothing evokes that feeling more than Comic Con International: San Diego 2022! After COVID cancellations, SDCC “mini con,” and a few years of uncertainty, Reece’s Rare Comics is finally heading back to San Diego for the country’s premiere comic con.

Reece’s will be set up in booth #1005 this year with 100 of their nicest slabs and their exclusive west coast raw inventory. Due to flying into the show, they will not have their usual $100-$1000 slab selection, but have continued to add to their inventory and will have plenty of new books to look at next week!

Reece’s Rare Comics shared a little about their convention appearances…

I wanted to mention a little bit about the last show we attended: Heroes Con in Charlotte, North Carolina. Every year I am asked what are the two best comic book shows we attend, and I continually tell people that both Heroes Con and Baltimore Comic Con are the best in the country when it comes to having a singularly focused show.

Both shows are filled wall to wall with comics and comic art and you don’t have to fight any crowds to get in. We had a very successful show and are always looking forward to the next one. If you are interested in trying a new show, I highly recommend either of them. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to shop and chat with us this year!

Reece’s Rare Comics just began selling product on the Whatnot app. Whatnot is a community marketplace where users can attend live rapid fire auctions hosted by a variety of sellers. Recently, they were running 60 second auctions starting at just $3 for Silver + Bronze Age books including New Teen Titans #2, Avengers Annual #2, X-Men #141 + 142 and more.

Reece’s Rare Comics is planning on running weekly auctions, so be sure to follow them on Whatnot and join a stream! It’s a lot of fun and a great way to interact with customers in between doing shows in person. Give them a follow at the links below so you can see when their next show will be.
