Deadpool comic creator Rob Liefeld would like to see Russell Crowe as Cable in the upcoming Deadpool sequel.
In a poorly worded Twitter post, he reached out to Crowe and the following sequence of tweets between them, make us raise an eyebrow and wonder if it may be something in the future.
Deadpool director Tim Miller left the sequel when there was disagreements over who would be cast as Cable. It was reported that Miller wanted to see Kyle Chandler from Bloodline in the role and Ryan Reynolds did not agree. It would seem that the studio sided with Reynolds. The current director for the sequel is John Wick director, David Leitch.
