PopcultHQ comic con spotlights a creator run comic con here in the great state of IL. The Lake County Count.I.Con located on Lake County’s Fairgrounds in Grayslake, IL from Aug 29-30th. This convention is geared toward being more comic book fan friendly with plenty of vendors, comic book artist and creators of the entertainment fields in attendance. With plenty of family oriented events it’s sure to be a fun time!
Lake County’s biggest Comic, Toy, Game and Art convention. Lake Count-I-Con 2015 will be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds convention hall on August 29th and 30th from 12pm-6pm each day.
And even though the event is 700% bigger…You’re still only paying $5 to get in. Did we mention there is a bar for the adults!
Kids 12 and under FREE.! Active military FREE!

What’s a VIP ticket get you?
Admission: You get admission for both Saturday and Sunday of Lake Count-I-Con 2015.
Line priority: VIPs have their own entrance and ticket window — you can beat the lines! (Tickets will be available at the VIP Will Call window)
Sweet lanyard: You will get a cool Lake Count-I-Con 2015 lanyard, because… why not?!
Squarriors #4 Variant: Every VIP will receive a special variant of Squarriors #4. This comic book is limited to 250 copies and will ONLY be available through the VIP promotion at Lake Count-I-Con 2015.
LOOT BAG: Each VIP will get a custom, screen printed, canvas bag full of awesome loot from our vendors! Every bag will have different items inside — Everything from toys to comics to vendor coupons to snacks, you might even win a $500 karaoke party!
How much does it cost?
Until August 9th you can order your VIP ticket for only $25!

Gamers HQ will be hosting many different console and PC gaming tournaments.
We Are Cosplay Costume Contest (All day, both days)
Children and adult costume contests, skits, and entertainment hosted on our stage both days of Lake Count-I-Con.
Table top gaming events hosted by Scions of Olympus Gaming.
Magic the Gathering Tournaments (All day, both days)
Brass City Games will be hosting drafts, Commander, and standard MtG tournaments all weekend.
There will also be Pokemon and other table-top gaming events.
Panelist Events:
Panelist – James Renner: Author and cold case investigator, James Renner, will discuss his novels and his investigation of the Midwest’s coldest cases.
Panelist – Tim Maile: Radio show host, author, and paranormal investigator, Tim Maile, will discuss his close encounters with the supernatural.
There will be many more activities and events! PopcultHQ will add them as they become confirmed with Count.I.Con!
