METROCON is a four-day anime convention held annually at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida, and is the state’s largest anime convention. METROCON was first held in 2003 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel moved to the Tampa Convention Center in 2005.  METROCON typically invites a variety of voice actors and hosts several activities and panels.
