Arkansas Comic Con is a two-day convention held over the weekend of September 10th at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Every year they host a variety of guests from artists to TV and movie celebrities across all genres and interests. This year guests included Harry Potter alum Matthew Lewis, wrestling stars such as Lita and Trish Stratus, and anime voices of Tara Strong and Charles Martinet. Mighty Con was held Saturday, September 10th at the Dupage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois. This is a one-day convention that goes back to the roots of comic conventions. Nothing fancy, just a nice simple conventions without a flash. I was surprised, in a good way, how busy it was. There were a lot more people than I expected and the majority seemed to be buying.
