Saturday evening’s cosplay competition brought out lots of people eager to show of their crafting skills, as well as how well they can portray their character. While we waited in line, participants rehearsed their skits and chatted with their fellow competitiors, nerding out over their mutual love for fandoms and swapping crafting tips. Of course everyone wanted to win the top prize (which ended up going to Skeletor), but it was refreshing to see how willing everyone was to help others increase their skills so that they can do even better next time.
