The Tampa Bay Comic Convention is an annual comic book convention held in Tampa, Florida. The convention has been in existence since 2000.
Despite the SAG-AFTRA strike, the convention brought in a fantastic celebrity lineup that included names such as Billy Boyd, Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, and Danielle Panabaker. The lineup included 25 film/TV actors, 15 voice actors, and more artists than I cared to count. Those numbers don’t include their guest panelists.
They had approximately 12,000 attendees this year. The only major complaint I have seen was regarding the heat in the vendor areas. Other problems people encountered were some rude staff and some ADA accessibility issues. Overall, it seems that everyone had a great time.
