SacAnime started in July 2004 as an offshoot of Sac-Con and has since expanded to a bi-annual event. This convention is held in the summer and the winter and held at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento and the Sacramento Convention Center, with Sac-Con occurring between them, in the spring.
