This was the final MechaCon. It was an annual three-day anime convention held during the summer at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana and was the oldest active anime convention in Louisiana. 202 was originally meant to be the final year for this 16 year-old-convention, but we all know know how last year went. We are grateful that the operators carried through and allowed Mechacon and their fans one final year.
