DragonCon 2017 officially starts today, but many people started the long weekend convention early. This mega-convention is in its 30th year and still going strong, in fact it seems to get stronger each year as more of Atlanta, Georgia joins in on the fun.
This 24-hour convention is hosted at five downtown Atlanta hotels: the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Hilton Atlanta, Sheraton Atlanta, Atlanta Marriott Marquis and the Westin Peachtree Plaza. It has also expanded into the AmericasMart Buildings 1 and 2.

And, if that is not enough for you there are events all over the place. Featured appearances including names such as Stan Lee, Ming-Na Wen, William Shatner, Charisma Carpenter and John Barrowman. There are over 30 performers and a slew of events including a night at the aquarium, the parade, burlesque shows, gaming events, LARPS, and more. If you want to do it, you can probably find it there. We haven’t even begun to touch on the artists and vendors that are there.
There is only one problem with DragonCon…when do you sleep?
