The weekend of May 12-14th saw people flocking to the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX for the state’s largest entertainment and pop culture festival, Comicpalooza. This event started nine years ago in a small cinema lobby and has since expanded to over 40, 000 attendees annually.
As with all large conventions there are numerous complaints about organization, long lines and lack of professional staff, but no major complaints and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves.
