Anthrocon ran June 30th through July 3rd in Pittsburgh, PA. Anthrocon is an anthropomorphic, or furry, convention where people celebrate the art and lore they love. The con began as Albany Anthrocon in 1997, and since then has grown into one of the largest anthropomorphics conventions in the world.
Their programming includes information and tutorials on acting, costume-building, animation, writing, art, and design. They also host an extensive art show and a fursuit parade with over 1,000 amazing costumers.
Thanks to Mick Rambo Hatton of DMon Productions, we get to see some of the fantastic work that went into these costumes. If you want to see more of his work, head to his website – Michael Conrath Photography.
