Ai-Kon is a Japanese anime and pop culture convention held annually in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This 24 hours-a-day convention ran over the weekend of July 22nd and was hosted at the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre.
Ai-Kon features a cosplay contest, 24-hour anime screenings, competitive video game tournaments, interactive fan-hosted panels, a Maid Cafe, and a marketplace of vendors and artists.
Winnipeg local Yuriy Roman Mokriy took some great cosplay photos and was willing to share them with us.
