Northwest Indiana’s premiere family-friendly
comic book convention returns!
On Saturday, February 11th, 2023, Crown Point, Indiana will once again be inundated with superheroes, anime creations, cartoon characters, and video gaming replicas as they all unite at the Lake County Fairgrounds for the Northwest Indiana Comic Con (NWI Comic-Con). This is the second year at the new, bigger space, approximately 20 minutes south of their previous location. This new location features 23,500 square feet and plenty of free parking.
This is a fun, local event that focuses on the backbone of comics: the artists and creators. Special guests include Gene Ha, Art Baltazar, Dr. Christina Blanch, Tim Seeley, Hilary Barta, Jim Terry, and several others. Be sure to pop-in to see the cosplay contests hosted by several local cosplay celebrities and to shop at the many vendors that will be on the convention floor.
Convention hours are 11am – 6pm, at the Lake County Fairgrounds (inside the Industrial Building) located at 889 South Court Street, Crown Point, IN 46307. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
