ASPEN COMICS’ 15 YEARS OF PUBLISHING
KICKS OFF WITH 15-CENT ASPEN LEGACY BOOK
2018 marks Aspen Comics’ fifteenth year of publishing in the comic book industry, and the company founded by the late superstar Michael Turner has big plans for a yearlong campaign to celebrate. The company intends to launch the anniversary initiative with the Aspen Legacy, Past, Present and Future 15-Cent title that includes never-before-seen artwork, photographs and other commemorative memories of Aspen’s first fifteen years of publishing. The issue also reveals several upcoming Aspen Comics projects for 2018.
Throughout the year, Aspen Comics is set to offer a series of special fifteen-year anniversary-related products, to be revealed each month. Already revealed titles include 25-cent primer issues for returning Aspen series, Charismagic, Jirni and Shrugged. The Aspen Primer issues will serve as jumping-on points for new readers and also offer peeks at their upcoming respective volumes for returning fans.
Aspen is pleased to offer supporting retail partners a free Aspen Legacy full size 24 x 36” poster to help promote Aspen’s fifteen-years. Aspen encourages fans to visit and check with their local comic book retailer to inquire about ordering the Aspen Legacy poster.
The Publisher also encourages fans to check out the newly-completed Aspen Universe: Decimation mini-series as a lead-in to this year’s upcoming titles, including Portal Bound, Charismagic, Shrugged and Jirni. Aspen will soon be revealing their Aspen Wave 2 titles beginning in May 2018.
