During this week’s CONAN show, special guest stars David Spade and Adam Sandler shared some stories of the late great comedian Chris Farley. The three men once shared the same stage on Saturday Night Live, working closely together. But it seems that same close working relationship would often create some friction over friendships. As was the case apparently when Spade and Sandler recalled some fond, and some not so fond, memories of their late friend. All in good humor I remind you all, as all three men stayed close friends until Farley’s passing of a drug overdose in 1997.
But this also may explain why Adam Sandler never cast the two together in any of his own solo films. Whatever the case may be, it’s still great to hear some unheard tales of the amazingly talented Chris Farley.
