Netflix’s Marvel programming have, in the majority, been a hit. For months we’ve known that Jessica Jones was filming a second season. We’ve also heard rumors about the second season production for Luke Cage, and a third season for Daredevil, but we still don’t have any solid information on the plot lines for any of them. All we know is that they come out next year and we hope to have at least a timeframe soon. We knew that Finn Jones was returning as Danny Rand/Iron Fist in the second season of Luke Cage, but now production is also beginning for the second season of his own show.
It now looks like Iron Fist is working on a second season with Variety confirming Alice Eve (Star Trek, Black Mirror) as a new cast member. We don’t know her role, but Marvel did have this to say:
“We are very excited to have an actress of Alice’s stature join the cast of ‘Marvel’s Iron Fist.’ Her exceptional talent brings an intrigue and danger to her character unlike anyone else.”
