Adam Savage loves building things and it seems that he enjoys building costumes as well. It has become his ‘thing’ to go to various conventions and wander around in one of his costumes, totally unrecognized. His latest convention venture (that we know of) was NYCC in October, where he showed up as Totoro.
Now he gives us a video on how he built that Totoro costume and incredibly it only took him one day!
Of course, not all of us have access to the vast array of tools and supplies that he does, but there are techniques in here that can surely be adapted to fit whatever your capabilities and limitations are.
