Chicago TARDIS, the Midwest’s largest Doctor Who event, brought fans together this Thanksgiving weekend to celebrate the world’s longest-running science fiction television show. This weekend-long event was held at The Westin Chicago Lombard, 25 minutes outside of Chicago.
The weekend started off slow, as everyone is either recovering from their turkey coma or out hitting the Black Friday sales. The beautiful weather also encouraged people to be outside to enjoy the unusually nice November temperatures.

Despite the other factors, people still trickled in to share their love of their favorite sci-fi show and to visit with some of the celebs. This is a small, intimate convention which allows you to get close and actually meet some of the stars from the show.
