Wizard World kicked off the Chicago Event with a party at Level 257 in Shaumburg, IL. This was a small meet and greet for press, celebrities and fans.
PopcultHQ was at the Wizard World Chicago event in force. Making appearances at the event were Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, Walking Dead) and Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Spin City). Also making an appearance was Chris 51 and Josh Bodwell of Epic Ink.
Our own Manny Popoca interviewed Michael Rooker, and the Epic Ink guys while I concentrated on some of the great cosplay that was in attendance.
It seems that most of the local cosplay groups were represented: We Are Cosplay, Cosplay Chicago, Costumers with a Cause and I am sure there were some others that I missed.
Wizard World starts today at 3:00. We will attempt to give you some updates this evening, but no promise…. maybe we will see you there.
And one more tidbit, I briefly caught the Epic Ink guys and asked them what their favorite vehicle was…
