“You’re the Spider-Man…from YouTube!” – Ned Leeds
At last night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards, fans caught a glimpse at a new trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. As a segue into the new footage, Tom Holland and Zendaya took the stage and had a bit of fun with it. When the actor who will portray the web-slinger asked his co-star, “If I was to ask you to homecoming, what would make you say yes?”, he flipped (literally) before her very eyes even before she could respond. Not only did it show his spider-like agility, it seemed to be a fairly decent proposal method.
Upon its debut during the awards presentation, MTV took to social media to tweet the latest footage. Watch as Peter Parker has his identity revealed to his good pal Ned Leeds.
