Watch: Benny Hill Meets AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ – It Had to Happen

If you didn’t watch this last Sunday’s episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead, OVERT YOUR EYES IMMEDIATELY — unless you are a huge fan of spoilers, by all means…  Continue onward!

On the latest episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead, fans met a character prominent in the comic book of which the popular television series is adapted.  Paul Monroe, also known as Jesus, made his debut when he ran into two of our favorite heroes, Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon.

Paul Monroe found himself in the company of two of our favorite characters who responded in the most understandable manner (gun in face, fight/no flight response).  He seemed to continue on, calmly introducing himself and then noted his friends called him Jesus.  (He does have somewhat of a resemblance to someone we might know.)

After outsmarting our heroes twice, he found himself getting chased down by the infamous Daryl Dixon.  It was only a matter of time that a fan of the show merged the chase scene with Benny Hill’s “Yackety Sax”.

Fans are still left to wonder as to what are Paul’s intentions.  There is no telling whether or not he will be good or bad; hinder the group or help the group.  Those who have read the comics might have an idea on what kind of character he is, but until next week or until we read the comics (and even then we won’t know what AMC’s writers will do), we will just have to patiently wait to see.

Do you think Paul (Jesus) is a good guy just trying to survive?  Do you think he will, in the end, be helpful to Rick and his group?  Let us know in the comments below!
