[Video] What We Watched: Fun Clips from the Past Week – November 16 – 22

While we’re all staying at home, a lot of us are watching things online. With the plethora of videos available, and more being created every day, it’s an enjoyable way to pass the time and bring a little fun into our lives. Some of these may be brand new, some may be older, but here are a few of the videos I enjoyed this week.

How does a drumline perform without drums? This high school drumline from Tennessee shows you how, and with excellent style!

There is so much that we don’t know about the creatures that live in our oceans, and here is one example. This completely clear jelly-like creature was spotted, and no one seems to know exactly what it is!

Giraffes are known for their spots, but here is another rarity in nature – an all-white giraffe! It is caused by a rare genetic condition called leuticism, which causes a lack of skin pigmentation.

You might think that there is only one shade of black, but you would be wrong. Different shades of black affect how much light it absorbs, and Musou Black claims to be world’s newest blackest black, reflecting only 0.6% of visible light. You can see it in action in the video below!

Who wouldn’t want their own Batsignal? The creator of this video uses a pretty high-powered light to power his, but no doubt you could create your own with flashlights or similar lights that you have at home!

Is there anyone who saw Marty McFly’s self-lacing shoes in Back to the Future and didn’t think that they were insanely cool? They might not be a reality of mass-production yet, but Hacksmith decided to prove that the concept might not be so far-fetched as you might think!

Life is quite a miracle, and seeing it come to fruition can be quite the sight. Scientists used a camera inside a dummy penguin, and managed to catch a number of images that they might not have been able to otherwise. Some of the footage they captured included penguin chicks hatching from their eggs, and I have to say that it is quite adorable!
