[Video] What We Watched: Fun Clips from the Past Week – February 22-28

While we’re all staying at home, a lot of us are watching things online. With the plethora of videos available, and more being created every day, it’s an enjoyable way to pass the time and bring a little fun into our lives. Some of these may be brand new, some may be older, but here are a few of the videos I enjoyed this week.

In Black Panther, we saw that technological genius Shuri created a pair of shoes that are completely sound-absorbent. That has to be purely a work of fiction, right? Well, according to JLaservideo, maybe not!

The extremely cold weather around the world has led to some people venturing out in search of a little creative fun. In the Netherlands, that led to some looking to give ice skating in Amsterdam’s canals a try. As you’ll see in the video below, that didn’t always end with the best results!

Residents of the Midwestern United States are known for being particularly hardy when it comes to the cold, so what happens when a Midwest family moves to the South and experiences their version of winter?

*Spoilers for Episode 7 of WandaVision*
If you’re up-to-date in watching WandaVision, you’re probably like the rest of the MCU fandom and have that catchy tune from the end of Episode 7 still stuck in your head. A number of creative fans have made their own covers of the song, and here are two of my personal favorites!

If you have a pet, they probably have a favored sleeping position if they’re allowed in your bed, but did you know that how and where they sleep has meaning? This video delves into that, as well as talking about how some other animals sleep and why.

I’m constantly dazzled by the creativity that some people possess, and this is certainly one of those times. The video below is the result of a Kickstarter some fans put together in their bid to make a live-action version of the movie Anastasia. They recreated several of the big musical numbers of the film, as well as the climactic moments, and I was absolutely stunned with the results!

Stop motion animation certainly takes a lot of time and dedication, but to make a film of a Jawa shredding a guitar like Eddie Van Halen truly is phenomenal!

We can all use a little relaxation time now and again, and this video of octopi put out by the Monterey Bay Aquarium may be just ticket for you this week.
