It’s safe to say that there are a lot of videos out on the internet. Even aside from streaming television shows and movies, entire websites and apps are built around creating and sharing videos, and we love sharing the ones we enjoy so that others might enjoy them as well. Here are some of the videos (both new and old) I’ve enjoyed watching the past week, and I hope you enjoy them as well!
It’s always a special event when a Star Wars fan shares the films with someone they love, especially if that person then goes on to become a fan of the series. However, I don’t think it was exactly love at first sight between this pup and A New Hope. The golden retriever is certainly spooked by the appearance of Darth Vader, and while he goes to hide behind the couch, he still can’t seem to look away!
There’s a reason the phrase “fighting like cats and dogs” is a colloquialism. That makes it even sweeter when you see a cat and dog become such good friends that they become inseparable.
Just how did the creators of The Mandalorian create all those stunning visuals and effects in the Disney+ series? This reel of some of the visual effects seen in Season 2 shows all the layering and combining of techniques were used to transport us to a galaxy far, far away.
When you think of explosions in television or films, huge balls of fire and flames likely come to mind. It’s interesting to learn, then, that this isn’t at all what they look like in real life. This video show just what it takes to create all of those impressive explosions we’ve come to expect from Hollywood!
It’s always fun to learn that celebrities have their own idols, just like us. Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley is an avowed Matilda fan, and was surprised with a meeting with the star of the film, Mara Wilson. Her reaction is probably what you might think it might be, as many of us might react meeting out favorite actor or actress, and the whole encounter is just utterly delightful!
There is often a simple beauty in nature, and the video below is an excellent example of that. When you combine soap bubbles, a levitating magnet, and a cold winter’s day, the result is simply stunning!

Robin Williams‘ performance of Genie in Disney’s Aladdin is simply incomparable. The lightning-quick jokes and imitations of pop culture characters that made it into the final film are just a taste of what the legendary comedian did to bring the character to life. This video showcases many of the alternate takes and impressions that didn’t quite make it, but are still hilarious nonetheless!
