In 2014 we were told that Gotham was the origin story of Batman and Gotham. So far we’ve gotten a lot of villains, but not much of the The Bat. Now as we reach the mid-season premiere, we might just have a hint of the Batman-to-be as Bruce Wayne is introduced to Ra’s al Ghul and begins his training.
If this is my destiny, I do not want to fail
We also see Selina Kyle fallen to the ground with a cat circling her, in a scene very reminiscent of Batman Returns.
