Marvel Studios dropped an official trailer of 2022’s highly anticipated sequel, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ With Ryan Coogler at the helm, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what the returning director has in store for the nation of Wakanda. One question, however, has lingered since the passing of Chadwick Boseman, the star who brought life to the character T’Challa in the MCU… How will Marvel/Coogler address Chadwick’s omission in this latest entry? The “should vs. shouldn’t” recast discussion is often circulating on social media with fans weighing the options. If there’s one thing we can count on it’s that Boseman’s impact in the MCU with the character, as well as his legacy, will be respected and honored. In five weeks from now, we will finally get to witness ourselves.

In the new footage, we see many returning faces – Shuri, Okoye, M’Baku, Queen Ramonda, Nakia, and Everett Ross. We also get some better footage featuring some of the new characters joining the MCU – Tenoch Huerta’s Namor and Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams/Ironheart. Plus, the trailer shows that Black Panther will continue as the nation’s protector.
