For decades now, the only Spider-man we’ve seen on the big screen has been Peter Parker. But as fans of Spider-man know, there’s more than one webslinger out there in the Spiderverse. Fans have been clamoring to see Miles Morales on the big screen for some time, and while this is an animated film, they are finally getting what they want.
Once he discovers his powers, the trailer shows Miles learning the ropes from a much older Peter Parker than we’re used to. We also see some of his home life with his mother and police officer father. We even get a bit of a surprise at the end with the appearance of Spider-Gwen!
Into The Spiderverse features the voices of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Jake Johnson as Peter Parker, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Liev Schreiber as The Kingpin, Mahershala Ali as Aaron Davis, and Lily Tomlin as Aunt May.
Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse debuts in theaters this Christmas.
