Cinemax appears quite invested in the adaptation of the possession/exorcism tale in which they secured the rights. Six new cast members have been announced for filming of the supernatural series from Image Comics. The first season, slated for a 2016 release, has been picked up for ten initial episodes by the cable network.
Outcast is a comic book series created by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) and artist Paul Azaceta (B.P.R.D., Amazing Spider-Man). The series follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers but what he uncovers could change life on Earth as we know it.
