For the parents of children or if you’re just a big grown up child yourself. We have all known the immense pain that an unattended Lego piece can have on ones precious footsies. Most especially when those darn Lego pieces find the bottom of your tender foot when trying to stubble around like a fool in the dark.
Finally the makers of those very same minefields of pain; Lego, have finally created a simple way to protect yourself from these horrible toys (sarcasm). Working together with a French advertising agency named Brand Station, the two parties has invented what is called the “anti-LEGO slippers”! It only took them 66 years to find a slipper to brand their logo on!
The slippers, which feature “tons of padding,” will be produced in a limited run of 1,500 and will be distributed randomly to people who fill out Christmas wish-lists on LEGO’s French website. So not only does Lego produce a pretty cool item any parent would gladly toss money at. Now they will only create a starving frenzy, by making these slippers an extremely desirable collectors item that will most likely end up on eBay by some of these “lucky winners”.
Just when I was getting excited to not have to clean up my Lego’s anymore…..um, I mean my kid’s Lego’s! Our only hope is the demand for these is so great that Lego will decide to mass produce them for the consumer market.
