Spin offs are everywhere and it’s not just confined to TV shows, comic books have been doing them for years. If a character or storyline is interesting then it gets its own comic line, even if it is short-lived. Star Wars and Disney have been tossing us sequels, TV shows and comic lines as fast as they can spin them out, some have been pretty good, others we’ll wait and see what happens.
The latest in the Star Wars spin offs is Kanan, this is based on the Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels. This is supposed to fill the time gap between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Rebels.
StarWars.com has given us a five-page preview of the first book in the new Kanan series. The new comic penned by Greg Weisman and artist Pepe Larraz is due on shelves April 1st (do I feel a joke here?)
