Star Wars Battlefront II is due out next month in Beta mode but seems to have an awful lot of leaks. After Star Wars Celebration, there was a leak of a trailer which later became available to the public.
In this ‘leaked’ trailer, we learned that it would be “An untold soldier’s story,” and would feature new battles and locations. We also found out about some great new playable characters. Playable characters included Rey, Kylo Ren, Darth Maul, and Yoda.
New Leaks
The newest leak regarding Star Wars Battlefront II comes to us via Reddit through the same source as before. Previous information leaked by the Reddit user Some_Info included when the closed Alpha was occurring and screenshots of the menus. They had also recently reveled various weather conditions in the game.
Some of the Beta information was already known. We knew the multiplayer ‘Assault on Theed’ supported 40 players and ‘Starfighter Assault’ supports 24 players. A new map revealed was the ‘Strike on Takodana’.
Skirmish mode will be part of the Beta which supports split-screen and online co-op play for two players.We learned that the file size should be between 14 and 16 GB. Soldiers will gain the ability to exhibit between five and nine emotes. We also learned that players can earn credits and collect cards, which we suspect will be lost when the Beta ends.
The Star Wars: Battlefront II beta takes place October 6-9. Pre-order players get access on October 4. It’ll be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
