Magma Comix is heading to their hometown show, Comic-Con International: San Diego 2024, from July 24th to 28th!

Join the Magma team and their roster of talented comic book creators at booth #1709 for exciting guests, signings, panels, exclusive event variants and lithographs celebrating their inaugural and newest titles.

Magma will host a panel Friday evening, where its creators will discuss the publisher’s first wave of titles, including Silicon Bandits and The Scale Trade, and reveal details about this fall’s releases, such as Hell’s Half Acre and Day of the Dead Girl.

Each day presents a different schedule of events, including signings by Magma creators Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly and Eamon Winkle (The Principles of Necromancy); Darick Robertson and Stephen B. Jones (Greaser: Gemini Blues); Joey Esposito and Sean Von Gorman (The Pedestrian), as well as Cavan Scott (Night of the Slashers).

In addition to signings, every day of the show brings the opportunity to snag a new Magma Lithograph, and you can always stop by for giveaways, including free comics, signing prints, and a raffle for experiences at San Diego VR. The Magma booth will also offer exclusive Event Variant Covers and debut their Shawn Lee designed Box Set for the discerning collector.

Magma is debuting our two newest titles to the Magma family with Greaser: Gemini Blues #1 by Darick Robertson and Stephen B. Jones, featuring an exclusive variant by the team, as well as The Pedestrian #1 by Joey Esposito and Sean Von Gorman, with a Sean Von Gorman blank sketch cover!

Each Event Variant has a limited print run and is only $20 each. Both creative teams will be signing these variants for FREE throughout the weekend.

Magma is unveiling four color lithographs highlighting some of the most powerful, unique covers they’ve published in their inaugural year, celebrating our hit series.  Only 25 copies of each lithograph will be available each morning.

*Please note: Customers who pick up a lithograph are entitled to front-of-the-line access
to the lithograph’s series creative team signing for that particular day.

Even though the title won’t be eligible for most Eisner Awards until next year, The Principles of Necromancy still managed to garner a nomination this year, with artist Eamon Winkle earning the nod for the Russ Manning Promising Newcomer Award.
