The second annual Prehistoricon was held April 6 in Mulberry, Florida. This event is a little different than most we cover, but seems to be just as much fun. This event travels back in time to celebrate those that are long departed from the surface of this planet… dinosaurs.
This unique Central Florida event bills themselves as being about fossils, gemstones, and steampunk. This free event had events such as an inflatable dinosaur race and dinosaur rides. Their guest speaker was cryptozoologist Robert Robinson. Other notable things to do included a food-truck serving prehistoric-themed meals, a Jurassic Park car show, and various panels about fossils, dinosaurs, and steampunk.
