Arriving at your LCS this Wednesday is the part three of “The Kill List” story arc in X-O Manowar #45. Writer Robert Vendetti continues to excite readers with this intense story pitting Aric and Ninjak against a slew of Vine plantings and an uprising from Commander Trill against the High Priest.
An infiltration at the installation where the plantings gather in order to achieve a collective consciousness leave many of the Vine members dead. Slaughtered, all in the name of a greater good (Trill and the Vine). As the massacre is being pinned on Aric, the upheaval continues in the Vine’s collective consciousness.
The truce is broken and an all-out war ensues between the Vine and the humans. The aliens storm upon the new Visigoth homeland in western Nebraska and demand the traitorous High Priest from X-O Manowar.
The intensity has definitely been cranked up in this issue and there’s no shortage of action. The team of writer Venditti and artist Robert Gill continue to compliment one another with a riveting story and magnificent artwork. With its fast-paced, action-packed, gripping tale, it will leave readers clamoring for the next chapter in “The Kill List.”
